Dear Brothers and Sisters

After much thought, consideration, and the blessings from my wife and children, I have decided to run for State Representative from Hooksett. I am writing to you today to tell you about my campaign and to ask for a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or $500 to support my efforts.

Local 856 has a long tradition of our membership stepping up and running for office and I am very excited about the possibility and responsibilities associated with serving the people of the State of New Hampshire. Like you, I am extremely frustrated about the direction our State is heading. This year alone, the State was facing over a 250 million dollar deficit with no clear path to recovery. We cannot continue to send the same tired politicians back to Concord and expect a different result. It’s time for new leadership and new ideas and that is why I am running for State Representative. You and I care about the same issues and I will be your voice in Concord and represent what matters most to you and your families.

However, before I can serve I have to run an aggressive and affective campaign in order to get passed the September 14th primary and the November 2nd general election. To be successful I will need a dedicated grass roots organization and the finances to get the message out that I am the right man for the job. That is why I am humbly asking for your support in helping me raise the necessary funds needed to run a successful campaign. With your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250 or $500 I know I can win this election and bring a much needed change to Concord.

Your early Campaign contributions made payable to "McGahey for State Representative" will help give my campaign the necessary boost that we need to get my campaign rolling. Thank you very much for your support.
Fraternally

Richard P. McGahey

P.P.S. Your grassroots support will make a huge difference. Make sure to tell any friends, family or acquaintances who live in Hooksett that I’m running and to please vote for me!
